Participants will build a loop-the-loop coaster, sending a metal ball on a rollercoaster ride and learning how the "centrifugal effect" keeps the ball from falling off. The kit provides an option to build another amusement park ride. Families are encouraged to attend to gether, but for individual participants, the program is most appropriate fo ages 8-12. Registrants may keep their kits (one per family). Snacks will be available. There will also be a book giveaway! This program is part of "Remake Learning Days" programming.

On Thursday, April 24, at 7PM, we will be discussing "Still Life" by Louise Penny.

Chief Inspector Armand Gamache and his team of investigators are called in to investigate a suspicious death in a rural village south of Montreal, and discover that the death was not a careless hunting accident, but something much more sinister.

This book introduced Gamache and the village of Three Pines to readers, launching Louise Penny's popular series which continues to grow years later.
